Writing Supplement questions

<p>I found a list of Writing Supplement questions at this Brown site:

<p>Are these for the Class 2014 ONLY or for the Class of 2015 too?</p>

<p>For someone who has not decided the major yet, can s/he skip the major specific writings? </p>

<p>I’d think one could get hurt by skipping those major specific writings. But what is s/he supposed to do if undecided?</p>

<p>Brown has fiddled with its essay prompts over the last few years. The 2014-15 supplement won’t be released until later this summer. I would not write any essays now based on old prompts, although I would work on an answer for “why Brown?” </p>

<p>If you are not planning on concentrating in chemistry, computer science, geology, math or physics, then don’t worry about that question. Last year, Brown made it very clear that undecideds had to write something about the academic areas that interest them.</p>
