<p>I have the option of taking either Writing the Essay or Commerce and Culture this fall at Stern. I've heard that WTE is a GPA dropper-- is that true? Is Commerce and Culture easier to do well in?</p>

<p>Also, to what extent do the skills you learn in Writing the Essay help in the future? </p>

<p>Writing the Essay is the most useless class you could ever take. Take Commerce and Culture and revel in the fact that you don’t have to be miserable for a semester</p>
