Some of you guys might already know but I just saw they updated that the exact number of applicants this year was 623! That’s pretty competitive, 60 out of 623…9.6% 
@thepenguin25 I just heard back from WTP and was rejected lol Kinda expected the result anyway (I asked for the early decision 4 days ago)
@hani1120 but 40 will be accepted to EECS while 20 will be accepted to ME. So, the acceptance rate depends on which track you’re applying for. Also, since WTP releases their decisions later than other summer camps, some people who’ve already committed will opt out, which means the acceptance rate would be actually higher by a bit. 
stay optimistic through this agonizing wait. There’s hope that we (along with many others in thread) will get in!

@boloking don’t let it discourage you from spending a great summer in somewhere else! There are still a lot of amazing programs out there

One week left
I’ve been dreaming about WTP pretty much every day, and I really hope I get in! Oftentimes, I feel the urge to email WTP admissions about my passion and excitement towards this program, but I feel like emailing them about my dreams and thoughts would be futile. Do you guys recommend emailing admissions? Would it really make or break my application?
@jjoojjoo same. But I think I’m going to wait it out. I don’t want them to rush a decision. That and I’m a bit nervous. I want to go to WTP so bad!!!
Does anybody know what time of the day they are gonna release decisions?
@hani1120 Nope. So we might be anxious for half a day or possibly the entire day. hahahaha
Hey everyone. Not a WTP applicant, but my sister applied here for EECS last year and got rejected. She was accepted into MIT, though. No matter what the outcome may be, things will turn out for the best. Good luck!

Actually I’m so stressed out studying for AP exams right now that waiting for decisions becomes less torturing
