<p>i thought my essay was pretty good and so did my english teacher. it was about a foreign exchange student who i became great friends with, and i talked about how he opened my mind to other cultures and taught me lessons about appreciating people with different backgrounds.</p>

<p>That reading score: yikes! Otherwise your numbers look pretty good. Your EC’s appear to be lacking a bit of depth, however. All in all, I wouldn’t consider you a top candidate.</p>

<p>Your GPA and rank are impressive, but looking at your scores, I think an admissions counselor might assume your school just isn’t very competitive. Your ECs are also just okay, nothing special. WUSTL is very competitive, so I don’t think you have the best chance. You’ve definitely got a shot, but I wouldn’t count on an acceptance.</p>
