Hello,
I really need some good feedback on a very important decision I'm about to make deciding between to colleges. I have been accepted into both Western Washington University and the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. I plan on majoring in Finance. My questions are
1) is it worth really worth going to the foster school of business over WWU that much? If so what are the reasons?
2) Where am I more likely to land a job right after graduating?
3) do wwu undergrads in finance get well paying jobs?
4) does the brand name of the school really mean that much?
I know Western is a good school, but I really want to land a job after graduation that pays well. I want to be able to pay off all this student debt that I have accumulated.
I would really appreciate some good feedback. Since this is a really important decision for me. Thanks for your time!

Foster has a way better reputation. WWU has made strides recently in building their value as a great place for an undergraduate experience, it will not carry the same weight with business recruiters. People my age remember when it was mainly considered a teacher’s college, and not a selective one. First impressions are important, thus the brand name of Foster and UW does matter.

I know many WWU students, but none in finance so am no help with the particulars of the major.
