I was rejected from this program this year but I can offer some help for anyone else who applies in the future.

I emailed the director and she essentially said that my application was good, but I don’t fit the program’s target demographic.

So in the future, apply only if you live in Wyoming, are an underrepresented minority, or are a first-generation college student.

For reference: she said I had good recommendations, I had a 4.0 GPA, wrote a 300 word personal statement, submitted the online application. The program admits 12 students and has an acceptance rate of 15%.

Sorry, I do not feel comfortable giving that information at this moment. Once I receive all or most of my decisions I will post where I was rejected and accepted!
