I've heard that Wellesley students have the opportunity to cross-register and take classes at Olin, MIT, and Harvard if they want. My question: Is this available for all students or must each student meet certain criteria before taking a class at another school (for instance, getting an A in linear algebra at Wellesley in order to take the next higher-level math course at MIT)?

don't know about requirements, but we certainly can't crossregister with Harvard.

I'm going to repeat this one because it isn't the first time on this board I've seen this misinformation:

NO HARVARD CROSS-REGISTRATION.

The Sentate bus does stop at Harvard on weekends, but only real MIT students can take classes there. Harvard would rather they didin't, but they want MIT engineering programs, otherwise they would cross register with nobody. You missed Brandeis and Babson Colleges.

First semester first years cannot cross register anywhere. You must actually be qualified to take the classes at other places, and fulfill the prerequisites to that course. Whether Wellesley classes qualify for the prerequisites is a different matter and should be brought up to that instructor.
