at this point all we can do is wait… and hope harvard / princeton took some of the all-star geniuses with them.

@sfaitht7, holla!
In addition to not being URM, I’m Asian too. -__-

By the way, I feel at least sort of lucky that Yale tells us when they’re releasing decisions. I’m stalking the MIT board, and they are still speculating (MIT only said “mid-December”).

^ same with UChicago… They still don’t know when they are releasing decisions

Count your blessings :)

I hate being Asian for that reason.

It’ll be interesting to see what the results are. WashU didn’t announce before, and I know people were stressing Thursday night AND Friday night. That would suck. At least we know exactly when it’ll come out.

Stanford came out like seven minutes late. I’d die if that happened to us.

Do you guys know of any decision sites that have crashed yet? I know there have been problems with that before. So anticlimactic, haha.

^ Some people on the Penn thread were having problems with their ED site, but it doesn’t appear to be an issue for the majority of people.

Anyway, I’m just desperately casting about for things to do…mostly watching movie clips on YouTube. XD

Did anyone ever watch Muppet Treasure Island? This is my childhood: [Muppet Treasure Island - Boom Shakalaka - YouTube](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

Guys, the scary thing is Yale already knows who is in and who isn’t.

@ RadSquared yes because it felt sooo real!!! I wore a Yale shirt to school the next day and was already planning a road trip to new haven… and then I woke up :(

…sketchy dude… too sketchy.

Hooked applicants have always gotten in early, we can see that from all of the recent Yale and Stanford SCEA threads. That being said, it does suck to be in the gray area, but somebody’s gotta get in, right? At least that’s what I’m clinging to haha.

On a side note, does anybody know if they compare applicants from the same school?

They say no, but I somewhat don’t believe them. Otherwise, the US prep boarding and private schools would be filling up all the Ivy’s and Ivy-quality colleges. :)

I agree, but I think part of the reason I asked was because I’m freaking out and over analyzing every last factor D: At least after today everything will go quickly till Thursday because of my weekday activities

For some reason, I find it difficult to get through school with Thursday looming over my head…

^I agree. The day lengthens the closer I get to Thursday; it’s my summer solstice. XD Seasonal irony!

Okay, I promise I’ll stop with the Muppets, but I feel like this song perfectly embodies my state of mind right now:

“It’s been six weeks…”

We are no more or less of people if we get in or not. We have worked hard and achieved great things on our own, regardless of if there’re are slots for us at a particular school.

^True!

Does anyone else suffer from insomnia? Since the end of last week when Stanford, Cornell, Penn, Dartmouth, Columbia and WUSTL released their decisions, I haven’t slept for more than 4 hours/night. Everything just became soooo damn real. :@

I haven’t sleep too well in weeks. I sort of just crashed today, but the date’s still 4 days away…

So, what’s everyone going to do, if accepted?
