@soccergirl2020 Please relax; they won’t reject you because there is a small typo in your application. Your fate is already decided, so freaking out about a typo isn’t necessary. Good luck though!
@OH2020MOM He has not told me anything about it and I feel like he would have. What does it mean if they do? I also submitted my music school application a few weeks ago.

@HJHerrick my daughter’s reference was not contacted, either (she submitted for French Horn, but not as a music major). Maybe the recordings were enough for them?

I just want to wish you all the best of luck tomorrow! You guys worked so hard for this, honestly! But remember whatever happens does not in any way form or shape determine your worthiness as an applicant. If you’re accepted then congratufreakin’lations!! Your hard work paid off and you deserve to just bathe in that life changing bulldogs video! If you’re deferred, DO NOT LOSE HOPE! You were such an amazing applicant that they decided to give you another chance!!! Continue working hard and don’t forget to send them a LOCI (letter of continued interest) to show that you’re truly dedicated to the school! If you’re rejected DO NOT LOSE HOPE! Admissions is so competitive that if you’re rejected it by no means is saying that you weren’t good enough because trust me you are! It says nothing about your potential and future success and I’m sure there will 100% be another amazing college that’ll accept you in a heartbeat because of how awesome you are!!!

Are the decisions coming out today as stated by automated message or tomorrow? I saw that someone said the automated system had an error, but I would assume that they would have fixed it by now. Also, does anyone know what time they are coming out? Is it 5, 6, or 7 EST?

Ok guys i’m freaking out a bit- are we sure that decisions come out tomorrow and not today? When I call, it says today, but then it says 16th on the email? Anyone any guesses?
It is tomorrow. They made a mistake but were unable to fix the voicemail in time. I guess Yale isn’t perfect!

The one I got right after the application was received I believe. Don’t freak out too much man we’ll be fine regardless of what happens tomorrow!
I believe they’re referring to the initial email you receive after submitting your application (the one with the link to make your yale portal account).
I think you guys are overthinking this way too much. Decisions for Yale SCEA are coming out tomorrow on Dec. 16th it’s always been that way and that’s not going to change. Please. Calm yourselves.
