So when does the decision officially come out? I’ve heard Dec 16 5:00 EST and Dec 16 7:00 EST. Just wanted to make sure.
I feel like it will probably be 7 PM EST because if it were 5 PM it would be coming out at 2 PM on the West coast. Kinda rude to release decisions while kids are at school.
@batboy past years (including last year) it’s been 5 PM EST, so I don’t see why they would change that. It might be 7 PM for RD, but REA has always been 5.
They just posted on Instagram that decisions come out in 8 hours which would make it 5pm EST

If my portal now has a place for me to submit my mid-year report, does that mean I’m probably getting deferred?
I saw that too. Colleges require midyear reports for accepted student too though. Also I doubt this indicates anything. Would be pretty major oversight on their part.
I don’t know that it means nothing… my portal doesn’t have a section for the midyear report.

Yale is releasing their SCEA later than usual. They could have set this date to change the UI to reflect midyear report status and not changed it with the release date. I think it could be a good sign because not everyone is seeing it.

Mine has been removed too… Looks like they caught on. If yours doesn’t have one, it doesn’t mean anything anymore. Who knows if it did before.
