@aarybalker I saw that too. But the general perception among people who’ve been through the admissions process is that it is very rare to be accepted without an interview. Even for international students. I don’t know how true that is though.
I read on a (previous year) thread here that Yale interviews solely depend on Alumni availability and many Singaporean students got in without an interview (that year).
If Yale didn’t request more IDOC documents from me is that a sign I’m rejected?
Just don’t think about it now. Yale is need-blind for everyone and it is more likely that they want docs from people who have left it incomplete. Moreover, a few financial aid docs are randomly verified at many universities. Just relax and wait for 5 days!

Did you submit all the tax documents requested by IDOC on behalf of the colleges that you have applied? If you did, your IDOC portal should display the status of each document. If all requested documents are satisfied, you won’t get any more requests.
Now getting a request for financial aid docs does not indicate the admitted status. I can assure you that. I have an older sibling who received an FA request a month before the decision date and was rejected later.
Back in January I had a yale interview but my interviewer roasted me a buncha times. Is that bad for my admissions chances and if so, how bad?

I never got contacted for an interview. The only other person in my grade at my school who applied did, though. I don’t think it means anything.
@OH2020MOM @Yaycollege2020 @wanglou You guys said that the items on your portal have been reflected twice or more, right? Can you guys tell me if the received dates are different on all of them or are they the same? Anyone who has the same situation on the portal can answer too.
The dates are same. The bullets are different. One has a green tick and the other one has a sheet of paper of some sort… @u392302
My check list hasn’t changed at all, it’s the same as it has always been.

My Yale portal reflects that my application and mid-year report have been received thrice each. Two times with the same date (the date I submitted the application), but the third time in mid-Jan. Is this the same case with anyone else? One reception has a green check, but the other two times have been marked with that weird icon.
Someone on Reddit said that his/her friend had a date change on the portal, and that one of the rows changed from “waived” to “received.”
Is the weird icon the same icon as the one found in the “Common Application” row?
Yes, icon is the same on both the Common App part and the second mid-year report listing.
My Yale portal reflects that my application has been submitted once. It has a green check mark and is the actual date I submitted it. My mid-year report has been received twice. One has a green checkmark and the other that rectangular icon. Both have the same date, which is the date my counselor submitted it. Additionally, I have a slot for “Common Application” which is the same date as “Application,” but unlike the latter, Common App has that rectangular icon too.
I applied as a QuestBridge finalist, so no Common App row for me. However, my mid-year report has been received four times. One has a green check while the other three have the rectangular icon. Two of them have the date 2/17 (one with the check and the other with icon) and the other two have the date 2/27. I know my counselor sent them on 2/26 since my county processes our semester grades really slowly. I’m very confused about the 2/17 dates…
That is very interesting. My mid-year report says 01/15, but I know my counselor sent it along with her recommendation. My Common App says received on 01/17 again. I don’t see anything like this in the past threads. Maybe the portal is acting up this year?
We’ll find everything out for sure in just a few days. You guys are giving me anxiety with all this portal stuff lol.
