Yale ACT/SAT Score Reporting on CA

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but reporting scores for Yale is a bit confusing given their policy of sending all scores for any given test. Here’s my situation:

I took the ACT twice. My scores are as follows:

Attempt 1: 34 composite, 10 essay
Attempt 2: 36 composite, 8 essay

On the Common App, I reported the 36 composite from attempt 2 and the 10 essay from attempt 1. However, due to Yale’s policy, I believe I will have to also report the 34 composite from attempt 1 and the 8 essay from attempt 2. I am planning to do this on the Yale supplement section (“Please list any additional academic examinations you have taken or will take…”). However, since I am CA reporting the composite from one test and the essay from the other, what exactly should I say in the Yale supplement section?

Have you submitted the CA yet? I believe Yale admissions will superscore the test from the complete information provided on the CA, not the applicant. So both of your ACT scores should be listed on the CA, not in the Yale supplement. Congrats on two strong scores!

^The Common App does not include room for more than one full set of scores (only the highest composite and highest for each section).
