yale app: sat/act??

Hi,
I took both SAT and ACT, but I didn't get my SAT II scores yet so I don't want to send my SAT scores to Yale because they don't offer Score Choice, so I'd rather just send my ACT score (only took it once as opposed to twice for SAT I)

So on the common app, should I not fill in any scores of SAT at all and just fill in my ACT score for the standardized test section? I'm going to only officially report to Yale my ACT score, but I was wondering if I need to only list my ACT score on the common app and refrain from listing any SAT scores.

Thanks in advance!!

I am pretty sure it is one or the other. You can send both, but you do not need to. You should check the website for each school.

If you don’t plan to send your SAT scores, then just fill ACT score and leave SAT score on common app blank. You needn’t fill in it if you just plan to send your ACT scores.

Yale requires either all your ACT scores or alternatively all your SAT and SAT II scores. What you put on common app is important for Yale only if relying on ACT because it allows you to meet its all scores requirement by sending only one official ACT score and listing other ACT tests on common app. If relying on SAT, you must order all scores sent by the College Board and it matters little what you actually put on common app.
