Yale bulldog days for admitted students

btw vivaldi87, is that a nick based on musical preference ;) ?

haha, true (although the note to admitted students about Bulldog Days suggested you wear Yale gear...no need for "fancy" clothing)

(and I hate the word "fancy," by the way - nothing against you, though :))

EDIT: just saw the post above. Yes, it is. :)

I'm an international, so I don't hate the poor word that much:)

heh, Yale gear IS the best, but you have to buy it THERE I guess - thus, you have to come in SOMETHING (unless you want to totally astonish your former Adcoms:))

by the way, is everybody really going to wear Yale gear? I'd love to, but it takes buying it before...

Oh. And Vivaldi rules the world. ;)

p.s. is their Symph Orch supposed to be descent?

haha i think we should plan to meet in a certain place at a certain time. any ideas? i think it was vivaldi's idea in the first place...

The Yale Symphony Orchestra is wonderful, from what I've heard. I'm more interested in their performance space, though, since I'm going to major in architecture. Woolsey Hall was designed by Carr

k, people that are familiar with the yale campus should suggest some ideas for the rest of us

just saw vivaldi's post...

yeah the architecture truly looks amazing.

I like the idea of meeting on Cross Campus somewhere...any thoughts?

(no, it wasn't my idea - I don't know whose it was, though)

Huge picture of the main performance space in Woolsey Hall:

http://www.yale.edu/opa/imagegallery/campus/image_hi/woolsey_hall.jpg

AAAAAHHHHHHH

well it wasnt my idea-but yeah, cross campus sounds good. what time? and yes, woolsey hall is amazing..but even more amazing is the Newberry Memorial Organ, which is one of the most famous organs in the world. Well over 10,000 pipes. I WOULD DIE if they let me play it.

vivaldi87, now I'm dying 2 SEE THAT...sighhhs...and HEAR THAT :)

vivaldi 87, JUST SAW THE PICTURE - OMG THAT's BEAUTIFUL. I WANT TO HEAR PROKOFIEV IN THERE ))!!

no YOU WANT TO HEAR DUPRE OR VIERNE OR SOMETHING IN THERE!!! but prokofiev is good too!! OMG are we all music geeks, too?

Time? I think we'll have to wait on that...

There is a schedule of events on the admitted students page - we'll have to work it around that...

well first we need to pick a day, and get others in on it to.

Lets hold off on the specific time, we need more opinions. We've got more than enough time to pick.

mr_sanguine, more than enough time? I had the impression that our days were virtually packed - at least the schedule seemed to be so...

prepster05, INDEED WE ARE!!!!

more than enough time to pick i meant. Basically, we need to get some other CC kids in on it to, know what's convenient for the majority of us. sry for the confusion
