@seekinginformation I will be doing an in-person interview next week. I will try to post not long after what the process was like and any issues I encounter with traveling to New Haven.
I will be doing a Skype interview next week. Good luck to all and keep us posted.
I will also be doing a Skype interview next week. Good luck guys!
Loftboy thank you so much!!
Best of luck!
Where are you traveling from?
there are metro-north trains which are much cheaper than amtrak if you fly into NYC
I do it, so i can give you specifics if you like
Lala and Mystical: Glad to see you are still posting!! As you must understand, those of us who were not granted an interview are left wondering. We would love to see your stats/hear about your background!
Thanks so much, it is very generous of you to post!
GOOD LUCK!!!
Hey all. I saw that some of you were interested in the background/stats of those fortunate enough to acquire an interview. So I’ll share mine. I’m 23 years old and I am currently serving as an Army Ranger. I graduated high school with a 98.4 GPA (my school didn’t use a 4-point scale), and started college at 17 years old. I transferred to a different college for my second year, but ended up leaving early to join the Army. Before I left, I made sure to complete all my exams early (thanks to my professors for working with me) and left school with a 4.0 from freshman and sophomore year. Fast-forward four and a half years in special operations (three deployments, Ranger school, other military schools), I am returning to school to complete my undergraduate education.
I hope this helps and feel free to PM me with any questions. I’d love to speak to some of you. Good luck and have a great weekend.
@Loftboy4U @Lalabunny @mythical How did your interview go?
@seekinginformation I am not comfortable sharing my stats/background story publicly. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me
@xylo1220 @zoonbhrogers did you guys have your interviews yet?
@lalabunny yes.
@Lalabunny yes, I think all were this past week no?
Anyway, I am feeling zen. It has been a privilege to even be considered.
Hello. First time in this group. After the interview, I was told that the decision would be announced by Patricia Wei on 14th May. Did you guys all hear the same thing? I’m getting quite nervous now.
@gkstjd2050 is it the 14th??? I thought it was the 18th
That’s what I was told after the interview with the admission officer. Who did you hear it from that it would be announced on 18th?
Oh dang! Mine was from my admissions officer at the interview too. Maybe I’m remembering wrong if two of you remember it being the 14th!
@xylo1220 My bad. That was me as well. I didn’t know I had two different collegeconfidential ID until now… When did you do your interview though? I’ve had mine done on 2nd May, and if your was after that, I guess 18th would be the day.
Same day. I wonder if anyone else heard a different date?
Hey guys, I am new on here too! I thought I’d say that I was told by my admissions officer that decisions will be made on the 18th. I am honestly not sure if that means they will make a decision that day and then let us know on a further date, but I hope we will know by Friday!
