Yale prefers GC rec on paper or online?

does yale mind if I've chosen not to waive my rights to see my recommendations? (FERPA act)
i kinda went and unknowingly chose that option, so if it's not a big problem I'll stick with it.
If it becomes necessary to change my ferpa act though, then I'll have to submit my school forms and GC rec on paper. Is there a strong preference for the online version of transcripts etc. or is it ok to send by mail?

The decision whether to submit transcripts and recommendations on paper vs. electronically is made by the high school. I suspect Yale doesn’t have a strong preference.

But colleges do prefer that students waive their right to see recommendation letters. They believe that letter writers will be more candid in evaluating students who have waived. I would sign the waiver.

The same happened to my S. But his teachers prefer paper recommendations anyway. He waived his rights on the paper LOR.

Even if a college prefers online recommendations, doesn’t mean they prefer applicants who submit recommendations online.
