Hey everyone! If any of you guys have updates make sure to post! I am still waiting for a decision on the waiting list for BBS, but I am hoping to hear something this week.
I am on waitlist for BBS… still awaiting for a decision. Keeping fingers crossed.
Congrats to all who got selected for YYGS and moved off the Waitlist. Question… is there still a chance to move off the waitlist?
@obiga99 I hope we get off!! And yes there is a chance, admission offers will be sent anytime whenever a space becomes available, so it all depends on who decides not to go.
@aspiringyouth @obiga99 though I do think there’s much less of a chance now. Many spaces all opened at once last week (after the reply deadline) and now it’s just one by one, as a student randomly discovers that he/she can’t attend. Unless they’re not done with the first cycle get. There’s the chance that they’re doing it by session, because so far, on cc at least, people have only been getting off TIE, PLE, IAS, and BBS waitlists, and I havent yet seen anybody get off the ASE or SEE waitlists, so it’s possible they haven’t gotten to the other sessions yet. But I kind of doubt that… So lessened chances, I would think 
Honestly, a lot of it has to do if you are willing to commit for a chance of being accepted. I know that staying on the wait list can be super stressful at times and sort of cause you to feel hopeless, but you never know. I think that if it doesn’t happen for us this year, then it just was not meant to be. I definitely want to apply for YYGS Junior year if I don’t get in this year, but I am not even sure if I will be able to do it next year because I might get involved in other activities that also provide an enriching learning experience.
@aspiringyouth - right said. For me this is last attempt at YYGS. I move on. I am from India BTW. So off to writing MBBS entrance exams next year, and other activities I love doing. I might not apply for Yale again. But you never know what’s in store.
Does anyone know if getting a gym membership is worth it? I’ll be in the TIE program at Jonathan Edwards College. Is it convenient to go, is there even any time to workout during the busy program? Any info would be appreciated thanks
