That's pretty much all I have to say. Just throwin' it out there.

I think so, too.

pretty??? no no no ..... GORGEOUS.

ahhhhh! don't remind me how badly I want to be there...

mmm Gothic and Georgian Colonial architecture.

oh yeah, and Eero Saarinen's monstrosities.

i saw a crackhead walk into the educated burgher when i was there a month ago.

i will grant that some of the buildings are amazing and there is that one street which they start the tour on which is nice, but don't get carried away. the surrounding area sucks.

Yes, it's simply gorgeous. However, there was some construction going on when I visited in September...wonder if it's still going on. Lots of dust in the streets because of it.

Hm, I have never seen Yale's campus - not even on the Internet. I should go check them out, now that everyone is saying how pretty it is.

I visited the campus last summer...very nice!

Gregorian and gothic is a rather awkard mix...I imagine they'd demolish the gregorians, but they're the only genuine era-appropriate buildings there..well those and Eeros...

you mean Georgian Colonial, not Gregorian (that's chant and a calendar)

and they wouldn't demolish the Georgian Colonials or Gothics because they were part of the same building initiative in the 30's.
the original college was Georgian Colonial and the Gothic was just to make the University seem older.

good marketing!

i know, right?! hahaha.
i aspire to be the office of admissions' cabana boy.

haha, my college has the best of both worlds - it's the "schizophrenic" college that's mainly georgian but has a gothic facade... (pretend that has the correct accent) :p

I personally like the gothic look more.

I sort of wish it was one or the other, but I guess overall it's still gorgeous.

The buildings are so uniform. yale is simply neat.

yale is pretty...stop making me regret not applying regular...fah.
