^
Same here. It’s just so much more convenient plus it sounds cool

^It’s annoying, I hate southern accents, they’re all slow and dreary.

^ Slaow? Waht are y’all tahlkin’ abaht?

:P

Act’lly, th’ d’ilict h’rebouts ain’t sl’w 'tall!

Whenever I say “y’all,” it’s usually jokingly. Sorry southerners! (New Yawkuh.)

^ Huve’t yah way, yankee!

:P

Bahamians use it =]

I say that, but really, there’s people with all kinds of accents everywhere these days. Some of my friends have strong “New Yawkuh” accents too.

Umm…just about everyone says y’all where I live.

Sometimes I make the effort to say you all…but it just sounds strange to me.

I’m Idaho, and except my mother, I’ve heard very few people say it here. I have a hard time not slipping into though because my mother and her family are from Texas.

Never in Caleeefornia. But, we do hear a lot of “You’re gay!” and “No homo” – always in the context of repulsion! It’s hilarious.

Living in south FL&FL keys not so much cause a lot of people have the hispanic accent thing going on, but I hear it all the time in North FL& Georgia! i use it to lol i’m a southern girl (:

mine isn’t lol

I never hear people say “y’all”, but I personally love using it.

It is very handy.

I work in Harlem, where I have encountered pockets of folk who delight in using “y’all.” I use it as well, but generally try to avoid inserting it into my speech, as it does not seem to be gaining widespread acceptance on Long Island.
