What are some really cool yearbook designs you've seen?

Heh, my school's got a really cool one. Of course, my opinion is biased because I was one of the co-chiefs editors that came up with it :P

Well, I think what we're doing this year is really cool. But it's a secret. So I can't share.

well didn't that defeat the purpose of the thread =P

Let's see. My favorite was two years ago. My school did a "note" themed yearbook with the cover being like the decorated front of a Mead notebook and the sections were all broken up by notes you would pass in class. Like the sports section had a note that was like "What time is practice?" and the social studies section was like, "Did you study for the history test?" They were written on torn up pieces of notebook paper. The whole yearbook was really informal, scrapbooky-type stuff.

Last year they did a "slam book" theme and all the page titles were questions. Like soccer was, "how do you get your kicks?" and the page was organized like a slam book, with survey questions and stuff. The whole thing was, again, pretty informal, and most of the stuff was written in crayon and sharpie.

Both times the binding was really nice, hardcover, and all the pages were glossy cover. It was sweet and definitely worth the $$.
