I will most definantly be applying ED/ER. My teacher rec will be very good and my essay shouldn't be TOO bad ;)

What else can I do to improve my chances? The balance of location, sports, social life, and a quality education make Duke one of my top schools.

whats er in ed/er?

Early decision/early response. I've heard it called so many different things so I just put the two most common. What Duke happens to call it, I don't know.

there is no er, there is only ed and ea(early action), do u know the diff? ill explain

ed means that if u r accepted under ed u MUST enroll at the university and withdraw any other applications u may have sent out

ea means u can get accepted early but are not obligated to enroll

duke is ed, i would advise u not to do ed unless ur 100 percent sure it is ur top choice

Early response actually does exist, but not at Duke. Schools like University of Michigan have it. Its non binding and involves just turning in your application early so you hear the decision before most everyone else.
