My fin aid package was awesome. We got a $43,000 Cornell Grant and a $4000 Tradition Fellowship plus the EEE, meaning we only have to pay $10,500 a year!!

Looks like I'm gonna be a Cornellian this fall :D

Would you mind sharing your household income or what your FAFSA EFC was on your SAR?

Yea I second that request? I was late in sending in finaid forms but I hope to get an idea from what you got!
Congrats btw :)

Our income is about $90,000 and our FAFSA EFC was $13,500 but we also have a home that lost about 20% of its value; Cornell takes that into account.

Their fin aid calculator was actually pretty accurate. It said we would be responsible for $15,000 total, but the Cornell Tradition Fellowship grant knocked $4,000 off of that.

Hope it’s affordable for you guys!

Cornell will meet everything but your EFC.

woww you got a huge grant! i got a 43k grant from Cornell also, but my income is half of yours at 38k.

My income is going up for 2012 to be around 90-100k and I was worried that I would have to pay significantly more, but maybe I won’t have to.

^ DarkIce. My EFC is only 800, but I’m still left to pay around 8k. o.0

^ weird. I had EFC of 0 and paid nothing.

ehh it’s ok. i’m still extremely happy with my aid since i will pay 4x less then what my sibling currently pays at a state school

I have to admit it…I am jealous. We got nothing But I am so happy for you!

How did you view your award? I am having a hard time viewing mine. Thanks!
