Yes or No?

Chance that i get Accepted into Wharton ED. Not really any Leadership positions, but i have put that i play one sport passionately

essay good, sat good, grades good, ranking ok, recommendations good

rest of ECs - purely of the “membership” ranking, not really any leadership positions

Isn't there already another thread by you about the exact same topic?

Obviously you can dissect something as difficult as admissions into a 3 line post

Hahah, really. Especially with such descriptive adjectives as "good" and "ok".

NO. After you reach a point with grades and SATs, ECs essays and recs are tipping factors. You said that your essays and recs are good, which many other applicants will have. You have one real EC. That is not good, unless you can convince a coach at Penn to campaign for your admission.

JCoveny, you and venkater have the same number of posts!

^^ omg dude that's AWESOME THIS MUST BE AN ACT OF GIOD!!

odd observation...?
lol but thats kinda cool, i guess.

hey venkater, are u intl? or at least, FOB?

I'm 100% American Paro. Born in DC, raised about 20 miles away. I am Indian though, but have no real connection to my Indian heritage. I probably should have checked off 'white' for my race because Indian is only skin deep for me.

ohh wow i wudnt think that after reading ur posts. not sure why.

altho indian schtuff is rly pretty cool - u shud try to get in touch with it if u get into penn (actually, wherever u go)

I guess so. I hear that Indian groups are great ways to make friends. Truth be told, I was the only Indian guy in my grade till highschool, so I got used to having other friends very quickly. The area I live in has lots of Indians, and there are like 20 in my grade, They just went to the other middle school. I really don't care about race at this point and only see people as two types: hot girls and everyone else.

haha- hott girls. guys have such one-track minds.... lol

wow, ive been surrounded by indians all my life. altho i wish i could connect better with other cultures, i kno its hard for me to do that. we'll see how i do with meeting white ppl tho. lol

I'm a white person. You can meet me when you get into Penn. I hereby give you official permission.

There are three things on my mind: girls, graduating, and getting into college. Graduating may be the hardest thing to achieve if I show up late to my history class too much.

why, thank u max. i look forward to watching u dance sans pants.
i may even join you, havent decided yet. will let u know =)

max just picked up a highschool girl..... CC may be the best thing ever.

Haha -- everyone wants to see the sans-pants dance :P

not me, I would be happier if you stop talking about your sans-pants dance. Don't you have exams to study for?

lol he's taking a break. right max?

venkater wants to dance sans pants but is afraid that ppl might throw tomatoes. its ok, venkater - some ppl just dont have the skillzz =)

You don't know what you're missing.

As for studying... yeah I should probably get right on that this instant

stares at unopened Accounting and Finance books

A break... yes. A semester-long break.
