Are international students invited to yes-w? Or is it just for U.S. citizens / us high school students

I’m not sure, but one thing to keep in mind is that so far, YES-W has only been for Regular Decision applicants (not Early Action applicants).

Historically, it has only been for domestic RD applicants (but that doesn’t mean US citizen, it means attending high school in the US).

yeah it makes sense since it’s hard to travel all the way…
