Yet another chance and a couple of questions

son has 3.62 wtd - school does not do weighted - 50% honors and 1AP
SAT 1920 (M700, CR630, and W590) - retaking in October
SAT II’s (Physics 610, Math 1 670)

Lots of sports Varsity teams etc. Lots of community service - at least 200 hours.

Summer job at Machine Rebuilding Shop (family business)

2 questions:

1) does BU superscore? If not what how do they look at SAT’s?
2) What do they look for in terms of SAT II’s - score wise

Thanks

He has a really good GPA but I would suggest he take a couple more AP’s. Schools like to see how well students can handle college level classes.

SAT II’s aren’t that important, but they could be the sway factor, just like his EC’s, personal essays, etc…

My kid was told to shoot for 650+ on the SAT ll’s. BU does not super score the ACT. My daughter sent in two score reports, each had different subscores. On her student link it only shows the subscores from the ACT that had the highest composite, even though the other one had significantly higher subscores, like 3 points I believe, for science and writing.

Good luck to your son, my daughter is a freshman at BU and is loving Boston!
