<p>I got C’s in Biology, English I (79.5), Chemistry, and Geometry (we were taught by a substitute for a majority of the year :/). They were all honors classes.</p>
<p>Mine counts because I was an “intern” at the local headquarters. I already had my Fla.-required 75 hours, so they were just added.</p>

<p>alwaysandforever- Well, those C’s suck because they’re all in academic courses. When you say a 3.5 GPA, do you mean unweighted or weighted? If you’re forecasting a 3.5 unweighted, that’s not too bad. A 3.5 weighted, on the other hand, won’t do much for you.</p>
<p>I volunteered for the McCain-Palin campaign and I was accepted, so surely as an Obama supporter, you’ll most likely be accepted.</p>

<p>When we went on the admissions tour last year, they said that leadership on activities was looked at more than just participating. Maybe you want to work on getting into more leadership on activities. Good luck to you.</p>
<p>3.5 unweighted, I’m hoping (I’ve gotten all A’s this year). Weighted should be good because I will have taken 4 APs at the end of this year, and I’m signed up to take 3 next year.</p>
<p>hahah, I’m a Republican, I’ve just never liked McCain. If Romney had gotten the nomination, I would have been a lot more receptive to the Republican party this election :)</p>
<p>@gatormom: I’m trying to start a local cancer advocacy group and I’m gunning for Captain on my rowing team. Hopefully that will show UF my leadership potential. </p>
