Id like to thank everyone for their opinion no matter how gloom it is

In all honesty, your high school stats automatically takes you out of candidacy for Bowdoin, Wesleyan, Dartmouth, and Cornell (only ones I know about). Also, if I remember correctly, some of these schools don't consider SATs retaken when the student is already in college (defeats the purpose a little bit). My advice to you would be to stay another year and try your chances as a junior-level transfer.

But if you're confident that you'll make it to Baylor and be happy with it, then why not apply.

Well I do know my chances at those schools are extremely slim if not non-existant but I had been encouraged to apply by my college advisor somehow she seems to think i have a chance. Me however im a little more pessimestic. However, considering the dislike I have for my current situation im going to reach out and see what can happen. Anyhow as far as SAT's go do you know if any of these schools will accept retakes within college? I've only ever taken the SAT's once prior and never prepared or really did anything to put myself on a path for sucess HS. I feel with some prepreation and my new academically orionted perspective i could do well and am looking for any edge on my grim credentials.
