<p>Perhaps someone should start a FAQ for MMSS. I couldn't find an old thread that has answer to these questions:</p>
<p>Will they send you a confirmation email if you have applied for the program? And.. do you get notified of your decision to MMSS along with the regular decision?</p>
<p>i got an e-mail recently saying the following:</p>

<p>This email is to acknowledge that we have received your application to the Program in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences at Northwestern University. If you are accepted to Northwestern, you can expect to receive a decision letter (via email) regarding MMSS a week or two after you receive your NU decision letter. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to email us with any questions you may have about MMSS.</p>
