Yikes! What Should I Do?!?!

I HAVE A PROBLEM!

well the PROBLEM is…

ugh!..it`s embarrassing!..

OUT WITH IT!....

oKay!

you see well a few days ago i received an e-mail from a coach and it was talking all this hot stuff about if i applied?! that if i haven`t he can write me a reccommendation letter that he would be glad to have me on his team...soooo....

here`s my problem…

1.it
s RUGBY[don
t really know much about it, other than i have hot hoodies and polos in RUGBY style!]

2.I would really like to play the sport i looked into it, it seems very interesting and looks like football…i like…!

I am wondering like i never ever contacted this coach…how would he know i would be interested in RUGBY?![is this a case of a mistaken identity?!]

well all in all…i would like to play once in college, well learn how to!, i googled it, youtubed it…the works…and i really like IT! should i contact him…and get reccommended!, but for what…how heavy do the coaches reccommendations weigh into the admissions process…i heard that its good and plenty…my friend got in last year with a fencing coaches recommendation letter…well atleast he thinks that was the bulk of it…

well i am going to leave you with an excerpt of the e-mail gonna leave out his contact information…because i do not think its right to forward ppls stuff like that

"Dear Jhendi,

I’m writing to ask if you have applied to Vassar? Please let me know as I can write a letter of recommendation. If you decide to play rugby here it would be a pleasure to have you on the team.
For details of our program just go to http://athletics.vassar.edu and click on Rugby (M).

-- Sincerely,

Tony Brown "

WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

CONFUSED AND DESPERATE!

your post doesnt really make any sense.

and you wont get in. i can tell. sorry to be blunt.

wow wow wow wow wow

i think its just another publicity stunt from the side of college!!!!

that letter goes out to a bunch of people who want to apply. i don't know how tony finds out who'd be interested in playing rugby. don't mind it much. if you think you may be interested in playing if you do get admitted and decide to attend, let him know. i don't know if the recommendation can make a substantial difference though - since he'll write one for whoever is willing to play rugby in college. he's a nice guy though - means well :)

good luck!
