I'm a senior, and I'm thinking of doing early admission for UGA, but I want my first semester senior GPA and a few extracurricular credentials to be considered as well. As in, I need the GPA boost from this semester, and there might be a few more notable community services that I'm doing a little later. Also I'll likely retake the SAT in October, which may or may not net me a better score.

So should I do early admission anyway? If they wait list me, will they consider all of the stuff I want them to consider from this semester during regular admission? Also, do you think one semester's worth of improvements could be the difference between acceptance in regular admission and flat out rejection in early admission?

BQ: Generally, how bad does your stuff have to be to be downright rejected from UGA during early admission? My GPA is 3.0 UW and 3.3-4 W (poor, I know. I started out badly and gradually improved.), 2090 SAT, at least passed all of my 7 AP tests so far except bio (2), and a decent amount of extracurricular stuff. All of this should improve at least a little by the end of first semester.
