You dont have to take GEs

For the ap tests I got a 3 on lit and a 3 on spanish. What am I able to substitute for those? What kind of credit do I get, which classes can I drop(if any)?

None. You still have to take the Spanish placement test to see if you can test out of the requirement, and they don't give any credit on English.

The AP policy site:
<a href="http://www.usc.edu/dept/ARR/transfer/applcynewge983.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.usc.edu/dept/ARR/transfer/applcynewge983.htm</a></p>

It's funny how they say they give credit for "most" exams, when they only give credit for 7 -__-

Then what are the credits we get for AP exams? Elective credits?

What I mean is that I took 7 exams and on all but one (damn BC Calc) I got at least a 3, so OASIS says that I have 24 credits.

Grr, you are right! Why did I even take the ap exams!?

Yes, they are elective credits. Don't knock em--after you get your major requirements and ge's out of the way, you will probably still have around 40 units that you need to fill up somehow. That is where elective units become very useful, beccause you have to have at least 128 units total to graduate. Of course, if you pick up a double major, minor, or switch your major at some point, you will probably fill up your other units anyways.

hmm how come my scores from sophmore year didn't show up? on oasis. hm i heard if you get a 4 or 5 on calc you get into calc2? is that true?
