<p>My school is really good actually, but I think its sketchy that the guy that teaches AP Music Theory isn't hired by the school or has ever been heard of by any of our other teachers.</p>

<p>our football team has pasta dinners before every game, so one genius FATHER decides to order a stripper to come to one of these dinners, but then the football players sent her back...this got on the news and our school was consequently called 'the northeastern gaybirds' by jimmy fallon.</p>

<p>when your history teacher gives tests and quizzes and then the lessons. thats right, we read at night, take the test or quiz the next day and then spend about a week discussing it. i have a test tomorrow on new deal and great depression and we haven't learned it. she said to read these sections and be prepared for the test.</p>
<p>when your history teacher has no idea what hes taking about and copies his notes verbatim from a book and doesnt explain them</p>
<p>When your physics teacher says
"I was going to give a lecture today but then I realized everything I was going to say is in the book"
and so doesn't give a lecture for 2 months</p>

<p>when a student is nationally publicized on TV for being a prostitute </p>
<p>when locals ask you 'do you do drugs'</p>
<p>when students steal a ton of laptops and sell it</p>
<p>when those who have money get to go on fancy trips in europe while the rest are left to rot in a classroom learning nothing.</p>
<p>when people decide to have not 1...not 2...but THREE food fights on the same day MIT comes to recruit...MIT hasn't been back since the incident...</p>
<p>when you have an SAT 1000 or above club</p>
<p>when your school is infested with mice and fruit flies</p>
<p>when your programming teacher gets stabbed in the bathroom of a strip club.</p>
<p>oh and also, when the math teacher (teaching AP Stats and probability) is a heavy gambler.</p>
<p>Honors lit classes don't have book tests (except the one teacher), but all cp lit classes do.</p>

<p>JTC007, I suppose it is normal and I do like it. For the first 2 years of high school, I got teachers who don't give lit tests to honors which was really nice to my grade because I don't pay attention to nonsense details that they test on. I write good essays though. This year, I got the new teacher and she hasn't mentioned a test yet because it seems all we're going to read is excerpts and short stories from a text books rather than regular novels. This concept is very odd to me. We've read like 5 stories from the text but no novels. It's probably normal but w/e just felt like posting, as is average SAT under 950 very normal for most schools. It may even upper end.</p>
<p>you history teacher says butt****er in class, buys flowers for the girls on their birthday, and makes really perverted jokes.</p>
<p>Now, I like my school, but it has its share of problems. </p>

<li>when someone steals nine laptops from the english department</li>
<li>when people constantly try to jump off the third floor into the trees</li>
<li>when you can't touch anything in the band hall for fear of catching an STD (seriously, band kids, simmer down)</li>

<p>When your spanish teacher spends more time talking about fashion and the dates she went on with guys that still live with their mothers than actually teaching, thus leading to lots of bad grades.</p>
<p>when kids play DDR on the computers while the compsci teacher is lecturing and doesn't know/care</p>
