Less than an A is failing

Less than a 5 on an AP is terrible

you believe that everyone gets a 2300+

you aren’t impressed by a perfect SAT score even though you’ve never known a person with such score in real life

you know too much about the college application process/standardized test curves

you think that super scoring is legit

you can recite the best prep books for every AP course

you don’t know anything about non-top 30 colleges
you don’t know how to study nor do you plan on learning
such terms as “self-study” and “urm” are a regular part of your vocabulary
you worry that your schedule might be too easy, not too hard
you want to retake a 790 on an sat II
you post on cc :D

Superscoring isn’t legit, and everybody knows that 2300 is relatively rare. jeez

When people mention a college, you can automatically tell them all sorts of obscure facts about it.

… or that could just be me.

when:
you could write your own expose of the college admissions process
a 200 on the PSAT is depressing
you could write a dissertation of affirmative action
you post here every day
your friends are all on CC
you know way tooo much about the top 30 colleges
HYPMSC drifts in your dreams

you can translate -15 on SAT physics/math/bio/chem/history to a score out of 800

you know that 60% on most AP tests is enough for a 5

you don’t freak out when you hear that someone took Calculus

you know the diff between ED, EA and SCEA

you know that Stanford and Yale have SCEA

-your heart starts beating fast when you hear the ComApp is out or when essays for your fave schools come out

-you anxiously stay up until 2am to receive your SAT scores

when:

you realize people actually do care about their future.

and when you know that AP scores are actually available several days before july 1st

^that’s the one

when you know the exact time that SAT scores are released!! (2am pacific, 5am est)

when you know that there are 19 days from the SAT testing date to when scores are posted online

-you know about every school’s financial aid policy
-you know what the terms safety, match, and reach mean
-3.7 and below is a “OK” GPA
-the what are my chances threads dont scare you anymore:) (like they did me at first)
-you waste the 8 bucks to call early for APs

you’re friends with a whole bunch of CCers on fb… hehe. And you chat/talk to them daily lol.

Is it just me or does the thread title of “CC’er” suppose to be CCer?

^ lol true. and yeah i think it should be CCer.

Actually 60% won’t cut it for a 5 on most AP’s.

When you’re on summer vacation, but you’re still thinking about school, classes, EC’s

You know the colleges you want to go to off the top of your head in order from reaches to matches to safeties

You’re dissapointed when you only get a 770 on an SAT Subject Test

You’ll only be somewhat satisfied if you get a 5 on your AP

You know about extracurricular activities that aren’t even at your school

If it’s not an 800 on Math II, it’s a failure; 790 is slightly acceptable.

When the thought of more than one online class during the school year/summer doesn’t sound hard in the slightest to you.

You’d spend break taking math classes because you were mad your last school district only let you get ahead one year.

You’re mad your school doesn’t offer an AP in a core class, so you plan to take the honors version in school and the AP version online concurently.

When AP Stats is a joke to you.

When NHS is also a joke to you.

When you fight for more rigorous standards at your local school.

When you live in the West and plan to go to school in the East.

When you know debate doesn’t really help in college admissions unless you’re “passionate” about something.

You’ve learned how to “fake” “passion”.

You know more than your school GC knows about college admission.

You could open a college prep service.

You’re debating between taking a free period to study in, or DC Chem.

You every so often write down your class schedule and EC’s just to make sure you’re on track.

When going through the “yearly interview” some schools have with the GC about colleges, you recite everything back to him/her without listening.
