-you start to recognize different usernames
-after checking the cornell status website (of course) CC is the first website you go to (that and maybe facebook)
-you can associate a personality with a username (ie: who is a jerk and gives sarcastic responses and who is too much of an optimist)
-you start quoting things like..."well i learned in this forum that----"
-you get too preoccupied with this website when you should be doing school work
-sometimes you feel like you have more of a connection with random users than your friends about college!
-you almost can't read another 'CHANCE ME' thread again
-you predicted your sat score very closely because you searched through all of the sat forums trying to figure out how many right answers you put
-you always look to see if other people, like yourself, have missing everything on the application status
-you wonder if you ever talked to someone from your school on cc without actually knowing it
-you are very thankful that people out there are in the same boat as you are!

i love cc.

...I think I go on collegeconfidential too much.

omg like.....all of them - -

im so nervous right now, getting on CC seems like the only thing I can do...

My friend told me about this website on Friday.. and I can honeslty say I have lived on it ever since. This is sad and I am going to look back at this later and laugh.

Yeah, same. I am addicted and I tell myself not to return and I realize how ridiculous this is, but I mean, the whole college admissions process is a bit ridiculous so for now it is a good place to vent. Misery loves company.

I have it saved on my bookmark bar, its becoming an addiction.

a true CCer still scourges the website when he/she is in college

ahh! All of them are soo true! Except the second one. I actually have CC as my homepage. hahhaaa

hahah truth

hahahaha CC is on my firefox browser bar. and i check it at least 2 times a day (unless i am swamped with work).

i will look back one day and either say THANK GOD for CC or I REALLY WASTED MY TIME.

but to be honest, i think CC has made me aim higher at colleges...half the kids at my school settle for less than their best and there are so many amazing kids here on CC that i was motivated? maybe?

I hope we can all congratulate ourselves on December12/15/16/17/18/19/20 !

i actually have spent the last hour and a half going between facebook and cc. no joke.

This is an addiction a bad/good addiction. If we get in this will turn into a even worse addiction because we will all be in the Cornell 2012 facebook group (hopefully). We should indentify each other by our usernames.

hahhaah it would be kinda funny to know who is behind the names....

imagine if it was someone that you knew!!

dude, almost every one of thsoe applied to me...

my last post was at 3:31 am last night.....thats how much I got addicted to this site. I started 2-3 weeks ago and now i cant stop even tho i know its not gonna change/help my college apps....

I'm being totally unrealistic right now but, maybe the admissions counselors check this forum (in fact I would have to say that they most probably do). And maybe they can see our names from the registration forms and match us to our posts. lol

yea that would be great...
