Got two average length books and one short one to read and do a pointless project on in about a month. Normally this isn't a problem for me but the assignment is pretty detailed

And it doesn't have to be reading, any assignments count

Count me in! I have ignored the required summer reading for two years of Honors English and now I’m on my way to doing the same with AP Lang. I’ll read it during the first few days of school again. The essay is at the end of the week, so I have time.

Before everybody starts criticizing me for wasting my opportunities, I’m self-studying a college calculus text and reading a few noted math books. Not exactly a full load, but I do have to spend some time this summer just hanging out, right? I don’t care in the slightest about the dreadful books we’re required to read and will lose nothing by doing it at the last minute. I read quickly anyway :)

That book was awful. The interchapters were mediocre propaganda, but the rest was mind-numbingly dull drivel. The only emotion it evoked was a strong desire for a few of the characters to be killed off so we wouldn’t have to listen to them anymore.

Don’t procrastinate on the grapes of wrath! IT IS SOO FLIPPING LONG! It is like shooting yourself in the brain a couple times. I didn’t mind the book, like concept wise, but it was a slow slow slooow read.

i’ve started, but barely…
i have to read…
opening skinner’s box-honors psychology
the prince-ap euro[found out from my friend yesterday, no one had even heard about that one=/]
frankenstein & the metamorphosis-ap lit

i have a writing prompt for each section for the psych book, i’ve read the first section and haven’t started writing anything. for english i have to write a college admissions essay by the end of next week, which i haven’t started…plus a practice ap essay on either of the novels i have to read and a bunch of practice MC questions. i just bought frankenstein last night, i read a few pages today…that’s it.
