<p>I get "you're Russian, you're supposed to be as smart as an Asian and as creative as a European" from my parents everyday. </p>
<p>I have a curfew of 7:30. And I can't even go see a movie with one my friends unless the parents are in the same movie theater.</p>

<p>To OP: OMMGGGGG Someone finally understands me. AAAAAAAAH, and someone understands my curfew dilemmas. I’m 18, my curfew is 930. And I can’t see movies that start past 7. </p>

<p>Hmm I’m a junior and I have Asian parents. Funny thing is, they don’t push/pressure me at all, and I kind of wish they did, at least a little. I don’t think they even know what colleges I’m looking at yet.</p>

<p>I have a Caucasian dad, and I’m not even allowed to leave the house unless it’s related to my education. I’m usually expected to spend the entire day on schoolwork, music, and dance practice. If he’s satisfied with the amount I do, I’m allowed to watch TV or something. Thankfully, I’m often able to get on other websites while I’m pretending to do homework.</p>
<p>Needless to say, I don’t have friends.</p>
