@songoflove !!!

^ I donât know WHAT happened with that last post. But Iâm so surprised!!!

@mezzontherise thank you very much!

Looks like they are still adjudicating. Check out the twitter post for POPMASTER FABEL. Patience yâall.

great to hear. thanks for posting.

@dradsmom Could you please post the tweet here for us to read? I wonât have access to twitter until tonight (itâs blocked at my school)

@Messontherise. The twitter post from @popmasterfabel just reads âGood morning Miami! Excited to be back at YoungArts as a dance panelist!â

@familyof03 thanks! Itâs so crazy that theyâre still adjudicatingâŠI want to know who they have judging! Does anyone know some of the big names who have judged in the past?

@Mezzontherise The panelist can be found on the YoungArts website. Use this link and click on the program in the left column, under Master Artist, that you applied to. By each master artists name, you will see if they are a preliminary or national panelist. http://www.youngarts.org/master-artists

@familyof03 oh awesomeâŠIâve never discovered that before.

@Mezzontherise Does YA sent this email to everyone?

âNext Thursday, November 20th, is doubly important for us. On the same day that YoungArts will announce its 2015 Winners, we are thrilled to be participating in the third annual Give Miami Dayâ

If they will announce all winners on 11/20, I am assuming that they will call finalist before that day

@familyof03 thank you. It is so interesting to click on the disciplines and see the judges working on the applications. I guess they take this seriously huh? Even more so this year given the late date! What the what!

This way of announcing winners is new this year I believe. I wonder if theyâre going to post a list or email all of the winners?

@cherryli2015 maybe, but Iâm not getting my hopes up. Hopefully theyâll post a list on Thursday and get it over with in one shot (at least for the people who arenât on it).

My D didnât get an email like that with the âNext Thursdayâ stuff.

Logic would seem to dictate that Finalists would be notified before a blanket public announcement to at least see who could attend that week or not, and maybe move them to HM or Merit. I donât know if that is how it has worked in years past, or if they promote someone from HM up to Finalist if a Finalist has to turn it down.

For those who were wondering about the email, the reason I got it is because I signed up on their website to receive email news blasts. Now worried if you didnât get it :)

oops sorry typo. âdonâtâ worry if you didnât get it!

@Mezzontheriseâ ok good! Hahaha I was getting worried I was missing out on something #:-S

@2019theatremom not how it works. if a finalist isnât able to attend miami week, theyâre just automatically granted level 3 award money ($1000, i think). theyâre still a finalist. i still see logic in calling finalists before announcing to the publicâitâd be this sunday-monday, as calls always go out on a sunday-monday in novemberâbut, for instance, scholastic doesnât do that; it just goes up all together on a list. YA may be taking a leaf out of scholasticâs book this year

Last years calls started on Saturday November 3rd.
