<p>I’m not too sure about Visual Arts. One of the participants who tweeted about YoungArts looked like a Visual Arts participant, but that was just my guess from his/her profile.</p>

<p>Hey guys! Just wanted to remind everyone that even if you were not selected as a finalist you may still have won an award! Receiving an honorable mention or merit award in a competition as competitive as YoungArts is a fantastic achievement as well. Most importantly, art is subjective and what wins at one competition may flop in another. Good luck to everyone!</p>

<p>Very true, mickyleib! And this is going to sound super cheesy, but the most important thing is that you learned from the submission process and pushed your own artistic limits. I certainly did. Good luck to everybody!</p>

Someone on twitter and facebook posted a message. I’d assume that they’re emailed after they get their calls.</p>
