Hey everyone,
Just wondering what brent wagner said to people in the vocal audition room. Anyone wanna share any comments made after their song?

All he really said was “Good job. Very well done. Now can we hear the other song just for a little bit of contrast?” sing “Good! Those were great selections you had.” Talked to me a little after that but just simple things like where I was from, was this my first visit, how did I like the place, did I come w/ my parents. Other than that, not much else. Was very friendly though, but I’m sure he was that way with everyone.

All he told me was that my song was a good selection, and that I did a nice job on the four tone sequences. We laughed a little bit because I was the sixth person from California in a row, made a little small talk, then he said it was nice to meet me and I left. I’m not too happy with my audition but hey, anything can happen, right?

He had me sing my uptempo first, the piano was really quiet and I had no clue what was going on. He said “Okay, now lets hear the other for contrast.” So I sang the other which went really well. He said “Those were awesome choices for you. They do good things for your range.” He then asked me if I had been on campus, if I liked it, and if I could read music/play piano. I answered No, I haven’t been tehre, and yes I can. He then said “Okay, have fun in your dance audition!”

He asked me which song I’d prefer to sing and I sang my uptempo first. He then asked me what my ballad was and he said that he was happy because no one ever sings the song I sang apparently haha. He told me that I had good song choices (sounds like he said that to most people). He asked if I read music or played piano and I told him that I read music and had some pretty basic piano skills. So more or less like everyone else!
