Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

The last movie comes out tomorrow, right??? ( practically a holiday in our house!)

Is it acceptable to ASK for opinions on a good source for flannel sheets? Not necessarily the cheapest. Colder nights are upon me. :)

Of course it is OK to ask! xiggi, have you considered fleece sheets?

This flannel bedding felt soft and luxurious, and it seems to be loved by the reviewers:

[Martha Stewart Collection Bedding, Luxury Flannel Sheet Sets - Sheets - Bed & Bath - Macy’s](http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/martha-stewart-collection-bedding-luxury-flannel-sheet-sets?ID=481307&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results)

There is a sale going on (it is Macy’s, after all!) with free shipping as well as some % discount.

I bought some from LLBean (unfortunately imported). We got them on our honeymoon in 1986 & just now discarded them because they were showing wear. Have bought some nice ones on-line but unfortunately I went with price because it was for my college kids. Tuesday Mornings in CA has some nice bedding deals, as does Burlington Coat Factory, and BB&B.

xiggi, If you search in flannel sheets on Amazon, some good deals may come up( with ratings, reviews).

I have heard great things about the flannel sheets from Garnet Hill but they are quite pricey. My mom likes the ones from LL. Bean.

Have had good success with products bought from The Company Store as well. All the merchandise I have gotten from them is well made, even if prices are a bit higher than the “low bid.” Have NOT bought flannel sheets from them.

I got some last year from the Company Store and we are very happy with them. In general the bedding we have ordered there has lasted well, my DD has items that are 10-15 years old which have been through various dorms & moves & are still going strong.

Fleece sheets rock. I bought them for my kids a few years ago, slept in my D’s bed one night for some reason and love, love, love those sheets.

We have sheets over 10 years old from Land’s End and LLBean that are stillin great shape.

re:post 3001 and 2/$40 sweatshirts from Finish Line. I got them today. Quality was not the best but they were definitely worth the $20 + 4.50 shipping I paid.
They will be xmas gift to D and S from S.

I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t like flannel sheets
probably because my sleeping garments are flannel or fleece and I stick to the sheets like a flannel board thing.

BUT we did have a nice set (we never used) from LL Bean, and another from the Company Store.

You might want to check Target
sometimes they have them.

thumper, I don’t like flannel sheets either. I like cool, smooth sheets. For some reason, my aunt thought I loved flannel sheets and gave me a few sets for Christmas over the years. I gave them all to my mom, who keeps them on her bed all year round.

I just bought some at Target. Pretty reasonably priced.

I just bought 2 of these wonderful, cozy throws today. [Luxury Plush Throw | Throws | Restoration Hardware](RH)
It’s a great price for the quality – on sale for $39. I got one last year for me and one for my son for school and we both love it! It’s thick and soft and wears really well and is washable. I highly recommend it.

My kids (& H & I) love flannel sheets & we live in HI–go figure. They prefer them not to pill but use them until they are literally falling apart of hate the color due to fading. I think it may be remembering the soft flannel receiving blankets from their youth? Anyway, as long as they’re 100% cotton, we all find them so soft & cozy. I wear flannel bottoms but have never stuck to my bedding.

Xiggi
I didn’t mean to write Target
I meant to write TJMaxx. They have very good quality sheets and sometimes they have flannel.

Xiggi, aren’t you glad you asked? So many options! :)

thumper, I do not care for flannel sheets either, but certain family members really like them. No flannel PJs for me as well.

Was going to post about the Gap sale but someone beat me to it a few pages back - 30% off your entire purchase with the code GAPFRIENDS through the 13th, free shipping on orders $50 and up. Good time to order jeans online if you wear petite (which they don’t carry in stores).

Just picked up 8 different restaurant coupons for $14 (total, $1-2 each) with restaurant coupons redeemable for $10 - 25 each. Used ‘HAM’ for a coupon code. I think this code is good for 5 days.

If you go to Gap for the sale and give them your e-mail address for promotions, etc. you can get an extra 10% off!
