I put this on the “Thanksgiving Visit” thread but wanted to note that Cheryl’s Cookies is having a 30% off Thanksgiving sale. [Cookies, Desserts, Gifts - Cheryls](http://www.cheryls.com/) Use code GOBBLE. I’m not sure if you can use that and the free shipping code.

Where are Cheryl’s cookies made? I went to the site, but they don’t mention that fact. Around Boston, I se Dancing Deer, headquartered nearby.

Cheryl’s cookies is based in Columbus, Ohio. They have several retail locations in Ohio and one in Beverly Hills.

FWIW, my son reported the Cheryl’s cookies I sent him were outstanding! :)

I never realized Cheryl’s was based in Columbus…have heard them mentioned here on CC before but never in real life and I live in Ohio!

Another recommendation for Cheryl’s. I also sent some to son and he liked them.

oh I haven’t been in the GAP forever- what jeans fit like Jcrew matchstick?

RE: Flannel sheets
I like flannel although we don’t currently have any for our main bed- between the foam mattress & the down comforter, it is pretty toasty.
I have bought cheaper ones that don’t last but the German made ones from Garnet Hill will last for years.

Banana Republic has 25% off $100 or more with free shipping over $50, through Monday.

My apologies if someone has already posted this, but if you go through the mrrebates.com site, you can purchase $25 restaurant.com certificates for $2 (just clink the link), and you’ll get a 30% rebate for a net price of $1.40!

This place is offering a brownie sample that you can either order for yourself or send to one of your kids. Regular price is about $17, plus shipping. Until Nov 23, you can get it just for the $7.95 shipping.

It says no gift message available, but it let me enter a message. We’ll see if the message arrives.

I would try those brownies and send to my S but it says they have to ship by Nov. 23 - I was hoping to send them for sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas break.

It’s a good deal!

Great tip 3bm. Just placed an order.

abasket, I don’t know for sure, but I have a feeling this is the beginning of the food offers. I am holding out for an offer that is half price on a larger amount of food/treats and like you, I want to send it after Thanksgiving for final crunch time, and/or for next semester.

Not a buy, but I had to buy a new blender because my old one broke two days ago. I am amazed at the power of this new one!! It is so much more powerful than the blender that I had and it will take time to get used to it. I must have been living under a rock, but I had no idea that a blender can be so much more powerful than what I had (other than the expensive $500 blender/juicers that I have seen demonstrated). I am kind of glad that my old one stopped working!

Northeast, please post any of those snack buys you see! (at least AFTER you place your order!!!) :)

abasket, I will. Please do the same (applies to all cc posters please). Frankly, I won’t look closely for these right now since DS is coming home soon and I recently bought a bunch of snacks for him (got to see him for a few hours while traveling with DH, and made it a point to get to his school).

I must admit that those brownies are a little tempting…still trying to hold out for something like the deals I got last year on cookies and brownies.

I just bought a dozen jars of mango chutney made in Maui. They were $44 for the entire box! Made our mechanic very happy by giving him a jar when I picked up my car. May give our other mechanic a jar when I get an estimate on the other car. (Can you tell I keep the mechanics in business–part of owning older cars.)

Because I bought so many, they gave me a free cloth shopping bag to put them in & a “Buy Maui” sticker. I plan to use them as part of Christmas gifts and think they’ll be VERY popular.

Also bought a $15 pair of compression socks for my upcoming flight. The normal price is a bit higher & I’m curious to see whether it makes any difference to me or H. They are VERY snug, but don’t need blood clots!

HIMom: can you post a link to the socks?

I ordered a pr. of Patagonia waterproof trail running shoes from Sierra Trading Post. Most sites I checked sell them for around $120. I got them from STP for $66. Now if they’ll just fit when I get them!

I just saw a website that advertised deals. cheapcheapcheap . com. Don’t know much about it except I saw it recommended on a local morning tv show. One of the things they had advertised was a neverkink hose from Sear’s for 15.99. My H is always on the look out for a good hose, that is a really good price.

No one has posted about this but there is a national groupon for American Apparel. It has to be used by Jan 21 (I think), so it might be a good present for the college kids. Their tshirts are expensive but really wash up nice and made in the USA!

If I had $500 extra dollars, I would consider buying this refurbished Mac…
