<p>So who took advantage of Am Ex’s Small Business Saturday today? I did, with 2 different AmEx cards, so will get $50 credit back on a total purchase of $55.10 :)</p>

<p>I also got a new coordinated queen bedspread/2 pillow shams/2 big decorative pillows and matching queen sheet set for my bed (they will match the current dust ruffle and curtains so I can stall a little longer on getting the whole shebang redone, but the bedspread was falling apart) for about $122 and got $30 credit to spend next week.</p>

<p>I did a pre-sale at Neiman Marcus on Wed afternoon, got 25% off on all sale items. I went back on Sat picked up my stuff, then found out I got $50 gift certificate. I used the gift certificate to buy a box of cookies as a dinner gift for that night. My kids were laughing that I could only get a box of cookies at NM for $50.</p>

These are for occasional use “playing” in the snow, as he plans to get waterproof hiking boots for walking to class and walking around in general, so I don’t want to spend too much on them, but would like to get a decent brand. (Sorel, Kamik, etc.) didn’t find anything cheap enough to excite me on sierratrading or campmor…</p>

Best Buy: $50.00 worth of iTune cards for $40.00. I found a very old Best Buy gift card tucked away in a compartment of my wallet. I punched in the gift card during the payment process. Gift card was worth $40.00 so I didn’t even have to charge anything to my credit card.</p>
