Has anyone bought a hotel room through Jetsetter?

mom60âŠour Nordtrom Rack has the Hudson Jeans under $100.

Now wish I had stopped at Nordstrom Rack yesterday when we went looking for a sofa. The Rack is 45 minutes south. My D presently has one pair of jeans she likes. A pair of Hudsonâs that she wears to school at least 3 days a week. She is working Sat for someone helping them unpack a move and will make $50 plus has $50 leftover from her Christmas money. She has a long list of things she wants to buy but the Hudson jeans are on the top of the list.

I saw the Speedos and Tankinis yesterday at Costco - wow, they were pretty darn cute and a GREAT price! I might have bought one of the tankinis but the bottoms seemed a little too skimpy for meâŠI want them a little bit higherâŠ

Iâm very fond of âsurfâ or âboardâ shorts and âboy cutâ bottoms for swimsuits. I did get some two-piece swim suits Costco a hundred years ago that I still wear, as well as board shorts.

Yes, those are fine - do you have a place you like to them? I just saw some in my new Eddie Bauer catalog I got today - they have CUTE bathing suits, but Iâm not willing to pay $60+ for bathing suit SEPERATES!

I bought sunglasses today at Costco and then had second thoughts about them since they were a bit pricey. I googled the retail price - four times what I paid for them  I think Iâm going to keep them.

abasket, I feel your pain - I can look really cute in $15 dresses and $30 pants, but I canât find a cheap beach swimsuit that does not make me look like a beached whale!

Speaking of sunglasses, are those late-night advertised LCD sunglasses BS or the real deal? Consider the source, the re-roasting of Pamela Anderson on Comedy CentralâŠ

I have Native Eyewear Sunglasses, so does DH. Bought them at REI Outlet at a huge discount. They are so much more comfortable for my eyes than the Target specials I had been wearing. DD is getting a pair for her 16th Birthdayâif sheâs driving I want to be able to see clearly.

BB- My H buys his sunglasses at Costco. He has had great service from Costco. With two different pairs he has had some piece break. Costco has been great about replacing them free of charge. One pair was over a year old.

For those of you who could use an extra winter coat, Overstock has some really good deals now. I ordered one for D. Her 4 year old coat is in need of reinforcements.

It is worth it to splurge on things that make us look or feel great (tho of course itâs so cool when we can find things at bargain prices that also make us look & feel great).

Iâve also loved Costco serviceâon glasses & pretty much everything. They even will repair, clean & replace nosepads on glasses they never sold. The folks at the store 5 minutes from my home are like friends at this point!

Yes, HImom, it was a little splurge
- the sun was out, the sky was clear, and I needed sunglasses badly because my other pair took some good beating during our recent visit to your beautiful state! I absolutely second everyone who said Costco optical has great service. They fixed DDâs glasses without any questions, and her GP contacts at Costco were $70 a pair vs $100 per one contact lens I paid at another store!

Speaking of Costco in HI, they have some great stuff that we donât - Japanese eggplant, Japanese cukes, blue sweet potatoes, all sorts of fish, and mochi (yum!). Iâd go back just to shop at one of your Costcos :)

I feel so fortunate the one with the friendliest personnel ever is only 5 minutes from our home (dangerous place, though; easy to spend soooo much when you go there for âjust one thingâ). My mom & hubby have both purchased sunglasses from Costco & love them. I have only splurged in getting Rx sunglasses & think those are very helpful.

They do have some very interesting & tasty merchandise, including some local produce & other products.

For those looking for swim separates, I saw some nice looking separates at Target todayâŠI didnât try anything on, but they had some nice prints with bottoms that looked like they offered decent coverage. Mix and match so you can get the size you need.

Started the day at 7:45 with a 75 minute drive to the saddlery store for the âbigâ sale. My D had a list a mile long. We got lots of basics for 20% off. Horse stuff seldom goes on sale. Luckily my D has slimmed down and was able to fit in a girls sized show shirt. I wonât say what our total was.
2nd stop was the Vans store for new shoes.
3rd stop was Target. Saw the separate swim suits. They had a whole wall that looked like a knock off of the J Crew separates. In solids and prints that you could mix and match the tops and bottoms. D found a couple of swim suit tops for 14.99. That is still $30 a suit which isnât cheap but not as bad as the surf shops. Of course my D ended up with 3 tops today and no bottoms. She doesnât like to match. I bought a cute pair of pewter colored flat sandals for 19.99. They had some great looking knock off sandals.

4th stop- Nordstroms Rack- D who is 15 tried on 25 items. She ended up with two pairs of jeans. They had her favorite brand so she was happy. She also found Splendid long sleeve t shirts in nice fabric for $19. She also found some plain tâs on clearance. I eyed some beautiful leather hand bags but passed.
A unhealthy lunch at In and Out Burger and drove 45 minutes home with a car full of bags. I am exhausted. D was extremely happy. She has done some unpacking for a friend who recently moved and has a houseful of boxes. My D has done a great job of spending all the money she has earned.

Received an email discount code for 25% off at the Gap. Have been wanting more of their âFavorite stretch t-shirtâ (which truly lives up to its name). Regularly priced at $16.50, on sale for $10, with coupon code $7.50. Ordered one in each color.

Anyone know of any good deals on late season ski trips?

Gilt has H/H ski wear on sale today.

Jym, if you like cross country skiing, Sun Mountain Lodge in WA had some nice packages. I suspect that after the Olympics there will be some pretty good deals in Whistler.

For swimwear, check your local TJ Maxx - ours had some very nice resort suits and some racing suits as well.
