Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

I snagged a beautiful Merrill long waterproof coat with a hood and all the bells and whistles on clearance for $59 at TJMaxx originally $300. The best part? D18 loves it and is going to need it on the East Coast.

Wow, great finds. Clark shoes are awesome.

All Athleta sale swimsuits under $25!! Going fast but some nice styles!!! https://athleta.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=1110633&tid=atem000543&mi_u=102338184&EV=ATSWIMBROWSEPM08132018&DI=102338184&CD=ATSCVSIG_AAC&cvosrc=

D2 finished moving from the apartment she was sharing with her bf (now ex bf) and decided it was time to purge clothes, shoes and purses. We took two black trash bags plus 3 smaller bags to a resale place in town. The people working there loved all of the things she brought (this is my D that has worked in fashion before). She walked out with a $496 check and she said it was very freeing to get rid of stuff she didnā€™t love any longer.

I stopped at Publix while traveling. Going up the canned vegetable aisle I saw Progresso canned artichoke hearts for $1.59 a can. They were on clearance. I bought all they had as they expire late next year. I am happy.

^^^Your post reminded me of buying all the Campbellā€™s kickin crab corn chowder I could find. My Hannaford stopped stocking it, and Target only had a few left on ā€œclearance.ā€ I think it was too costly to make.

When I was traveling for special ed hearings, I once bought all the clearance LEGO they had at the Walmart and boxed it and brought it home. It was like 25% of the retail price and nade excellent gifts!

Our local grocery store was once clearing out their small LEGO sets ā€” usually they were $2-3, marked down to $.29 or $.39. I bought all they had and let the teachers give it to each student for Christmas. It was a huge hit!

I bought Office Depot ā€œreamsā€ of paperā€”300 sheets in color and 65 sheets neon in cardstock for $6 apiece but will he receiving a $5 Office Depot gift card for each, making net price $1.

Also bought vinyl portfolios with prongs for $.35 apiece. They look very sharp for presentations and reports. (I give couples whose marriages I officiate a portfolio with the wedding ceremony for a momento.)

Also bought two flash drivesā€”usb3, 32gb for $12 apiece on sale (about 1/2 price).

They also had Crayola felt pens setsā€”wide or barrow tip for $1!

Iā€™m glad I went around closing time so I had to check out and didnā€™t stock up on tons of things I DONā€™T need. I love office supplies but have very limited need for any of it.

Olala!! I checked our (stupid, overpriced, not that good) Off Fifth, andā€¦ they had the Kors denim trumpet skirt I lusted after! In my size, deeply discounted. Yay. I posted a link to it a while agoā€¦ if I find it, Iā€™ll repost.

A-ha. My price was $123 plus tax.

I was just able to combine all the UAL e-certificates for the problems weā€™ve had on our flights this year from 10 into 1 certicate, which I will shortly be using to buy tickets for H and me to see BIL, one of my friends and a conference! Iā€™m very pleased! All of the combined e-certs will be applied to our itinerary!

Woot! Just bought the flight I had been eying for the past few days. The fares dropped nearly $500/ticket and was able to purchase with the UAL e-certificate so no cash! Iā€™m VERY happy! The price for the same flights went from $960+ to 860+ to UNDER $500 apiece with a stopover that we wanted!

Got S from East Coast to SFO nonstop for the holidays for $99 each way on Alaskaā€™s flash saleā€¦

I just found that Alaska Air sale too! Changed my flight and will save over $200!

Thanks! Just made a reservation to San Diego! Two for $372.

So crazy with fares. Just after I bought our tickets today, they went up over $200 apiece with a long layover we donā€™t want instead of a nonstop! I guess it was really good I paid attention and booked when I did.

Sadly, looks like the Alaska Air flash sale endedā€”great for folks who got it!

Alaska doesnā€™t fly hereā€¦boo!

You can get 30 percent off everything at Landā€™s End with the code STARFISH pin: 8421 through Aug. 28. I was able to get a bathing suit top and bottom for $16.09 for each piece.

Good news/ bad news for me. My pedicure place raised their prices a bit, but I went today because my massage got cancelled at the last minute. They had rescheduled it twice (itā€™s a massage school clinic so that s happens) so tomorrow they are giving me a 2 hr massage for free!

We do not know how as H and I both checked it twice but our flight was booked for 6:40 am instead of 1:00 pm.
H called and it was to be $125 per person change fee. Agent on Alaska Air gave a wave and we paid $18 total
for our 1:00 flight with the same seats. We love Alaska Airlines.
