@RandyErika $2000 in cashback from ebates is amazing!
This isnāt a good deal, but I thought of this thread when it happened. I got to Bed Bath and Beyond maybe 3 times a year. However, I appear to have a thing about saving their 20% off coupons. I was going Sunday, so I reached into the drawer Iāve been saving coupons in. I grabbed a couple and tried to shut the drawer. It wouldnāt shut, so I wound up pulling it out. I must have had 75-100 of those coupons in there, dating back years. Clearly, I want my good deals.
I love ebates! I also find that mrrebates has better rates of cashback sometimes. I used to quickly check both sites before purchasing. Now I have https://www.cashbackmonitor.com/ bookmarked and go to that, enter the store and in a second it shows me the rebates at lots of sites. I would go nuts if I belonged to all the sites that show up there but I did add befrugal as it often is higher than ebates and mrrebates for the stores I shop at. I rarely forget but am so disappointed that I forgot to do it this morning before buying all those shoes at Macys. I could rebuy them all since Iām picking them all up at the store but that seems so wasteful.
@collage1 Thank you for sharing that site. I am going to bookmark it.
My BIL is loving his InstantPot. He made us a delicious pot roast in it the other day and we all had secondsāit was so good! I love that itās so quick to prepare soups and stews and that his liner is stainless steel.
He bought his from Costco and I will be keeping an eye on it to get one for us. I love soups and stews but donāt like how long the can take.
He said he paid a bit more at Costco but is happy they have a great return policy in case he didnāt love it. Anyway, itās a great way to make a nice meal in a shorter time and have control over seasonings.
Thanks for the cashback monitor site, I wish Iād known about that years ago!
I use Mrrebates. For some reason i prefer it to ebates.
This is the one I was unfamiliar with, https://www.cashbackmonitor.com/ , looks great for those sites that donāt have common cashback options.
Stopped by Macyās to do a return, and While I was there I checked out 75% off sale stuff.
I scored 2 very soft $50 plain white Pima cotton towels for 11.99 each.
They had Martha Stewart stuff on sale for really good prices, but nothing I needed.
Pottery Barn/Kids, William Sonoma, West Elm brands are having a special one day blow out sale:
https://www.potterybarn.com/pages/premier-event/
If anyone has Eddie Bauer reward money, it probably expires today.
^^^ I have like $10 - sometimes there isnāt something I want to buy. But I have to say, they often extend the expiration date - once I didnāt use it and probably a month or more later went to buy something and my account said I had $10 in rewards I could use!
Macyās has bedding basics from their hotel collection on sale today only for 70% off.
I got 2 down alternative king pillows originally $130 each for $78!
I was in the store today but this sale is online only. The sales associate did not believe me, said that their hotel collection never goes on sale for that much.
@deb922 OMGā¦thank you so much for that heads up! From a wedding registry, I purchased some bedding for the coupleā¦original price $805, sale price $419, 20% shine promo $384ā¦plus $12 ebates coming!
Last week, I was going to just purchase the duvet cover ā¦glad I waitedā¦ Now I also got the two shams and three pillows for what I was going to spend.
Wow thanks! Got a featherbed for the guest bed!! Will shop some more on the bus.
@deb92 - great sale. I got two of the Hotel Collection quick dry Pima cotton towels in the store the other day for less than $12 each. On this sale they are about $15, but Iām thinking of getting a couple more, because I really like them. Iāve purchased a couple sets of their sheets. One I loved, but the second one not so much. My cart has a bunch of stuff (that I donāt really need) in it. Maybe it will all be gone a little later when I can more easily purchase it.
Thanks @deb922. Picked up a couple of new pillows and pillow covers.
Got a coverlet set for the bed, too!! Nice sale. I needed that stuff but was reluctant to spendā¦ I have rarely seen better prices on the stuff I needed. Thanks!!
Peer pressureā¦you guys made me caveā¦
I now have 8 towels on the way that I donāt really need.
But Iāve been thinking my towels could use a refresh, and the Hotel ones I purchased just recently are very soft and washed up nicely (non-Tide detergent).
Wow @deb922 you saved people lots of $$ today!
