Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

Well three live chats later, and still no discount, only free shipping. Went ahead and ordered the 28" for D, $69.99. It is purple which is her college color and she is happy. Thanks again WW, still a good buy.

GA, sorry you had to be put through the wringer. Wish I had written down the code that the rep told me to input. I would’ve been happy to share it with you. Glad that you’re still pleased with the price.

Good sales at puma.com if you or your kids like puma shoes, clothing etc!

Ordered two pairs of shoes (one for S and one for a D) and a soccer shirt last night for $100. Plus free shipping for orders over either $75 or $85! (free shipping always draws me in!)

Came home from Nordie’s sale (unimpressive IMO) to find the suitcase in my driveway-- took just two days for delivery!

WW, what was your expected delivery date that they gave you? They gave my D the 21st, which is 7 days from the order. It is going to Oregon where she is doing her internship, so I wanted to give her a heads up to watch for it if it may arrive sooner.

^^^The 19th.

I’m not a big outlet shopper, but today my daughter’s and I did very well. At JCrew, they found nice tanks/tees/sweaters all 10.00 or under and one item was orig. 60.00 (a cardigan) down to 16.99. One D had eyed that for a long time, but it was too expensive. Gap flip flops for 3.00 to go with the 1.00 Old Navy ones and Bed Bath & Beyond let us use 3 20% off coupons for each of our items and that saved us some on mattress pads and dorm items.
I found a floral tee for 6.97 I liked at B Republic but then it was 30.00.
I don’t always feel I got a great deal, but many times I just feel, I finally got it for what it was worth to begin with. : )

Two RT tickets to HI, courtesy of Alaska and Hawaiian mini-fare war and Alaska’s mileage discount: $300 total. Now I have to locate a hotel that is remodeling their pool (translation: deep discounts to the guests who do not care about having a pool), and we will be all set to enjoy Hawaiian sunshine on a nice sandy beach. :)

There is a J. Crew warehouse sale in town this week. I got $675 worth of stuff - 2 scarves, 3 bathing suit tops/bottoms, a 1 piece bathing suit, a headband, leather driving mocs, khakis, a cardigan, a merino sweater, a top, and seersucker pants - for $115. Very nice.

I know this is not a ā€œgood buyā€ that can be shared, but I love to shop at thrift stores and garage sales. My latest buy was an almost new toaster oven (incl. convection features) for $3! I checked out the ratings on Amazon, and most users loved this model. (Unfortunately you have to buy first in these instances, but you can’t go wrong for $3). I find the best sales are the multi-family donated items for a cause. Win-win for everyone. Downsizing and contribution for the giver, Funds for the organization selling, Great deals for the buyers, and better for the environment ( recycled use, less materials wasted or in land-fills).

samsonite.com -has great sale. (extra 20% off on sale items . Ends today).
got couple of tot-a -tons for the dorm & accessories .

Bought a nice messenger bag for college for $70 when it was originally $109 - 36% off. Its really cute and I like it and I can’t wait for it to come in the mail!

Macy’s.com has baskets (and trays and jewelry and totes) from Rwanda - some on very very good sale prices…and free shipping with the code ā€œbasketsā€ on $50 Rwanda basket order.

Bummer- The bag I ordered last week has been cancelled by the vendor, so no Jane Marvel bag. But, they gave me credit on my account for my inconvenience, so I guess thats better than nothing.

For those with an Aaron Bros. Art/Frame store near you, the buy one/get an equivalent frame for a penny sale is on now. Will be on until the end of July.

ga2012mom-
I found 2 links to the 20% discount for ebags. Last day one of them is valid is today. The other goes til Sept 10. If you want it I can send it backchannel. Can’t post it here.

ruelala.com, how to become a member?
Do I must have invitation?

arling, I am a member of Rue La La, if you send me a pm including your email adress, I’ll send you an invite…and one to anyone else who wants to join.

It might take a day or so, my laptop is in for repair (right I’m using DH’s). But I will check for PM’s asap and take care of it right away.

I’ve also joined ideeli…I like merchandise and the prices are very good.

I sent arling a pm yesterday, so I am hoping to be able to refer her to Rue la la, Mom2m :)

and FYI, Ideeli has really bad reviews-- lots of complaints. I have stayed away from that site [Ideeli Reviews - SiteJabber Consumer Reviews of Ideeli.com](Groupon Reviews - 6,728 Reviews of Groupon.com | Sitejabber)
