I get instant Extra Care bucks when I check out from CVS. If I go with my daughter, we divide items and check out separately so when I get the extra bucks, I hand them to her and she uses it instantly rather than having to wait to return. I find that I often leave the coupons at home or in the car. Sometimes the coupons are for savings on CVS brands only but usually they are not limited.

I also get emails with coupons attached - some are for online ordering only but often they are coupons for in store use. They come in very regularly and I use them a lot.

Some of the CVSās now have a scanner where you can print your coupons or bucks, the ones you forgot to bring with you! You just scan your Extra Care card and the machine will print the coupons you have available.

I keep all my coupons in a small case in my car so I always have them. We were in my husbands car and he needs to pick up a few items. I when to the machine, and out popped my coupons!

mapsey - Thanks for the link to the Patagonia fleece jacket. This looks like it will work for D. She needs the extra small and the jacket has to be form fitting when she wears it for a riding lesson on her horse.

Also a big fan of the LL Bean Visa card. It isnāt our main card, but I use it for online purchase to keep things separate. Iām constantly getting $10.00 of Bean Bucks to use on future purchases. Amazon Prime offers free shipping with no minimum, but thereās an annual fee, which I wonāt pay. At the moment Iām using Dās free 1 year student Prime membership ā I tell her what to order and she has it sent to herself at our home address.

Re: CVS ā in addition to Extra Bucks based on my quarterly purchase total, which, as mentioned, just come off your next purchase, Iām also accumulating Extra Bucks by not using a CVS bag for purchases. For every 4 times I donāt get a bag, I earn $1.00. I had to pay $1.00 initially for a āGreen Tagā which has a barcode they scan ā but it was worth it. I donāt usually use all the other product coupons that get spit out on the register tape, but the Extra Bucks are good.

Also using Dās free Amazon Prime. I just log in under her email and order and have it shipped to my home address. I use my credit card for payment.
Hoping they offer it again next year. D2 is a HS student but takes classes at the CC and has an edu email address. Hope that works. We have become spoiled with the prime.
I am not great about using the CVS bucks.

One of our grocery stores recognizes CVS as a competitor store and we can use the Extra Bucks, etc at the grocery store and they treat it as another coupon.

Re: CVS: Iām a poor grad student, so Iāve been getting into couponing recently (and have saved quite a bit of money so far!) I try to ārollā my ECBs, so I look at the sale papers and buy stuff thatās on sale and producing more ECBs, so I can buy stuff for as little money as possible. If thereās nothing good I want and the ECBs are expiring, I can always find some food item or something that I want.

Example: this week I bought Complete contact solution. It was $10 on sale and was printing out $10 ECB. I had a $10 ECB from a previous week, so I gave that to the cashier and all I had to pay out of pocket was tax, plus I got $10 back in ECBā¦so it was close to free. Iāve gotten quite a bit of free (minus tax) toothpaste, makeup, and even a Sonicare toothbrush recently by using coupons and ECBs.

Rite Aid has a similar programā¦this week I actually āmadeā money because I paid $10 for stuff and got $16 in rewards back.

Itās complicated, but Iām finding it worth it since Iām on a limited budget right now. :)

Me, too. Thanks to whoever pointed out this good great deal. Only problem is that the emails about the orders go to her email account. She doesnāt forward them to meā¦

My great deal of the day was a free 8gb nano ipod for my daughter for Christmas. I was looking at my credit card statement on line and saw that I had earned points for rewards. I donāt know why I had never seen the rewards before but anyway I looked at what I could purchase for my rewards and it was a ipod. Woot Woot. I have had this card for a long time and I scarely remember switching to the reward system but never thought much of it until recently. It pays to really loook at the other information other than items purchased.

A plane ticket for DD using DHās miles. Otherwise, I would have had to pay $400 one way  - that is more than I spent on a RT ticket to Hawaii!!!

^Any advice on how to buy a cheap RT ticket to Hawaii, from Philadelphia or +/- a few hours nearby? Unfortunately the timeline is set for spring break, so I donāt expect that level of cheap, but it would be nice to pay less than $800.

Countingdown - Canāt remember which one I grabbed - it was the cheapest. I just used the selection tools to the left of the screen. Searched for luggage, clicked carryon, then changed the sorting thingy on the top right from āmost popularā or whatever the default is to āprice low to highā. I get great deals on Amazon this way. Within the past month I purchased another carryon in person at Marshalls for $46. I buy a lot of luggage there and get great prices. This Amazon one was around $70 including shipping. I could not find it cheaper online. If you can look in person, you might find better deals that way.

Woot has bucky balls on sale today - [WootĀ® : One Day, One Deal?](http://woot.com/) 2 for $30 plus $5 shipping.

Thanks SO much for the Bucky Balls. I was looking at them for stocking stuffers, but at $30 each, was too much. And if you order more than one set, the shipping remains the same!!!
