Where can you buy gas without ethanol these days?

Thanks for the tip on the trimmer men’s sizes. S hates jeans and is moving into business wear as he will be starting his job in the next few weeks, we THINK. Will let him know and PM me if you decide you want to see your kiddo’s jeans. S may be interested. I think he’s 27 or 28 with 30 inch inseam, which is pretty tough to find anywhere.

Our slim son (28 inch waist, 30 inch inseam) has very good luck getting slacks and other clothes at Banana Republic. It’s a not a “good buy of the day” but it’s worth spending a little more to get something that fits. Whenever he has gotten things that don’t fit, the cost of tailoring them added to the cost of purchase makes these Banana Republic clothes not expensive at all.

Reminds me…was just noticing today that S seems to be outgrowing his 30-32 pants! Will we have to shop in the “big and tall” section? But he still has a 30 in. waist! He’s not big, just tall LOL.

Another store that carries 28" waist is J Crew. What I like about most of their pants is you can chose your inseam; they hem free of charge. Again, not the cheapest pants around, but good quality and you can always get them on sale. You can get slim fit, regular or relax fit in most of their chinos and jeans.

If you are in the market for an ice cream maker, William Sonoma is offering a one day deal today on a Cuisinart. Today the cost is 39.95 (sugg. $110). They do charge 8.95 for shipping. The reviews on their site about it look good. They have sold out of the red color, but the white one still seems to be available.

Never mind the above, it looks like it just sold out!

Thanks for the thoughts–will pass them on to S & maybe give him my $50 Banana Republic gift card so he can get something that fits. Nice idea. Have not tried J.Crew, but will try that as well. Great ideas!

Bought one if my children an Oral B electric toothbrush at Bed Bath and Beyond. I used my 20% off coupon. In addition Braun is offering a rebate of 50% of the purchase price. The catch is it is a mail in rebate so you only save the additional amount if you are one who will actually fill out and send in the rebate form.

Banana Republic offers great deals if you have an outlet store nearby, sign up for their email coupons and you get frequent offers, that on top of frequent 25-50% mark downs makes them a frequent good buy.

Thanks for the tip–will have H & S go to the mall store & try different clothes on for fit & then we shall see if we can get them stuff via mail order or at the outlet store. Sometimes they have amazing styles.

It may have only ruined a seal. I had this happen to a lawnmower and it was not expensive to have fixed. In my area, Kwik Fill stations are usually the best bet for finding “real” gasoline but I have passed other independent stations with signs posted for ethanol-free gas. There’s actually a website where people post such stations:

Just FYI Williams Sonoma has the Kitchen Aid Pro Mixer for $299 today, which is a huge savings. The attachments/accessories are alll 20% off as well (for all Kitchen Aid mixers).
Thanks to Northeastmom for mentioning their Deal of the Day!

Another deal online…Edie Bauer has all men’s and women’s t-shirts on sale for $9.99. Turtlenecks, mocks, long/short sleeved…

Costco sells the KitchenAid mixer for $299 with a $40 mail-in rebate: red, silver and white are the color choices. Someone who may not be mentioned on the Internets will be getting a silver one for Christmas.
Santa will let her keep the rebate, too.

NYC groupon deal today - redbox DVD rental - $1 for 3. Good until March. I figure if I don’t use it, I’m only out $1.

Saw the smaller “tilt head” Kitchen Aid stand mixer (not an Artisan, not sure which model it was thought) at Costco for $199 today. In the past, Costco has only carried the larger model.

Anyone looking for a Kitchen Aid mixer should also look at buying a reconditioned model. I got my Artisan as a reconditioned (Christmas gift) a few years back and have had no problems with it. They look and perform like new.

Amazon has the KitchenAid professional 6 quart in meringue (which looks pretty close to white to me) on sale for $279.99 + $50 rebate. It may be a little cheaper than Costco, especially if you’d have to pay sales tax…unless her heart was set on the silver one :)

I bought a Keurig Mini Personal Coffee Maker from Bed Bath and Beyond for $69.00 (tax included). They matched the price at Best Buy ($79.99) plus allowed me to use a 20% off coupon saving me another $16.00. So I saved $36.00!

If anybody is looking for luggage, I’ve been looking for two Samsonite spinner pieces for my son. They had been running about $250 online. Tried Kohls and theirs would be $308 for the two pieces I want with my 30% coupon. Sam’s had a four piece set, but one one of them had the spinner wheels I want, and it came with two pieces nobody would use, but it was only $149. Then I went to Costco and they had the exact two pieces, for $129.

I think I’m going to get the Keurig at Kohl’s though. Right now they have one for $109 which I’ll use the 30% on, and it’s not even the tiny personal one.
