grove city if you're a "smart kid"
a lot of pittsburgh schools (duquesne, pitt, etc)
a few third or fourth tier western pa schools and some trade schools
no one EVER goes to ivies...we have maaaybe two or three every twenty years</p>

<p>I live in central NJ and go to a public high school. If I remember correctly, our scool's average SAT is like 1020 or something like that. It was definately low 1000's. But anyway, in this year's senior class, which was about 420 kids, 186 went to Brookdale Community College. The next three biggest groups were (in order): Rutgers, Rowan, and Montclair.</p>

<p>Each year we get some kids who go to "big name" out of state schools. Not many, but they do exist. This year, one kid went to Columbia, one went to Brown, one went to Dartmouth, and one went to Boston College. I think there were others, but those are the ones that come to mind right now. I do remember that last year the #1 kid in the class went to Yale.</p>

<p>small town Western PA high school...here's for the past few years, as much as I can recall:</p>

<p>Many students go into our state system schools. We have several at Penn State and Pitt, including branch campuses. Some Duquesne. One at the Naval Academy, one at Virginia Tech, one going to Arizona State on a Merit Scholarship, maybe a few at Temple, Lehigh, Lafayette. One at Johns Hopkins, one at Colgate. A lot go to community college or the service.</p>

<p>I go to a public school in the suburbs of Oklahoma. About half of our graduating class this year is going to Tulsa Community College. Next is Oklahoma State University, and after that is the University of Oklahoma.</p>

<p>Basically, people at my school suck.</p>

were special ed....most kids this yr r going to trade schooL(all trades they were going to go into made decent money..i mean they wouldnt be rich but they wouldnt end up dirt poor!) nyit(decent school i mean it could be worse) or Nassau county CC...(one of best ccs in the nation!) oh and one kid got into st bonevanture IONA St thomas aquianas Landmark and one other school and is going to Iona..he liked it a lot smart enough to get a bit of scholarship money...my goal is actually to go to a decent college..theres quite a few in my range...and im happy...about it...</p>
