Hello parents,

For the past six months, I've been spending a significant part of my off-time developing a free website to help seniors prepare their college applications. Student reception has been great. The thing is - I'd like to start making the material more accessible to parents (and families as a whole). I'm in the process of adding more content, and would be interested in knowing what kind of things parents look for. Specifically,

1) How much time you do spend on college planning compared to your son/daughter? Are you happy with this ratio?

2) What kind of information do you spend most of your time looking for?

3) Are you satisfied with the kind of resources currently available to you? Is the use of private college counselors mainstream in your area?

4) What would you consider to be the greatest challenges as far as college applications are concerned?

5) Where/who do you usually turn to for college admissions advice (besides CC.com)?

Thanks in advance!
